Why am I running?
Francis Howell School District was the obvious choice for me when it came time to start a family. Two decades later, I am a proud parent of two FHSD students and one alumnus. During that time I have met so many wonderful families, amazing teachers & staff, incredible students, and involved neighbors. Thanks to all those groups, Francis Howell remains the best district in the area.
For our schools to remain at the top, it will require the continued dedication of countless individuals. The district needs enthusiastic leadership that will engage all those contributors and empower them to deliver on the districts mission. Our focus needs to be on producing successful students while being financially sound. I am running for school board to be part of leadership team that makes it happen, because I have the qualities and experience needed.

What is my Background?
Growing up in the St. Louis area, I attended great public schools that prepared me for success in life. After graduation I enrolled at the Missouri University of Science and Technology, earning a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Later on in my career I added a Master of Science in Engineering Management, expanding my knowledge of leadership, strategy, and financial management.
My professional career has included various roles in the private sector of the aerospace defense industry, where I remain today. Through the years I have gained valuable experience that I will bring to the school board that includes: balancing competing priorities, operating within budget, understanding government requirements, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and executing long-term strategies.
In my personal time I have been dedicated to helping the community. For over a decade I was coach and volunteer for various organizations. Knowing that tax dollars only provide a portion of the funding needed for our schools, I also enjoy assisting with fundraising activities. By donating my time to create and run Trivia Nights I have helped raise countless dollars to help our PTOs, boosters, clubs, and teams.
